Windows 10 pro 2020 download isolved login – Who We Serve

I’ve built hundreds of computers and reset many more than that. The issue is during the OOTB. Please sign in with the email address provided by the XYZ Company. What I want is to be able to sign in during OOTB with a regular Microsoft account, not an account provided by the company that owned the laptop before. If the old owner’s Sign In screen is still left over then the there was no Clean Install done that either wiped the drive properly after an ownership change, or formatted it.

I wrote the tutorials which popularized Clean Installs with millions of consumers over the past 12 years, winning the top award in the tech field every single year. So I also know a bit about Clean Installs, too, and if they leave an old company’s sign-in page then it’s not clean at all and what’s required is Clean Command as Best Practice or at least formatting.

An old company’s sign is surviving means it was not even formatted. It would be hard to imagine doing any install that leaves an old company’s sign-in on a new PC. So please describe this “Clean Install” that you said you did. I gave you the steps that will get rid of all traces of the old owner, which is what’s needed here. XYZ Company is the company I bought the laptops from, the company was bought out by another so the tech people don’t really care to help with old hardware.

I bought a brand new ssd from Best Buy, put in in the laptop. That’s as clean as it gets. What you’re seeing is puzzling. I wonder if you set it up with a local account initially and then add your own MS account if it might work around it. I can install on the laptop just fine. I can, but I’m concerned that it’s connected to Azure by serial number and can be remotely wiped if someone decides to. Or if someone resets it in future they’ll not know how to avoid the issue.

I’m Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP specializing in installation, performance, troubleshooting and activation, here to help you. You need to do the Reset choosing to Remove Everything, otherwise it keeps the old accounts which you can’t sign into and don’t want.

If the Reset fails Go to another PC to create bootable media to access Repair Mode to do a Reset, or if it fails again do the gold standard Clean install. The bootable media doesn’t require a password, has it’s own drivers, repair and installation files which often work when Windows or the other Repair Mode doesn’t. Uncheck the box for Recommended Settings to choose the exact version and bit rate for the target PC only. If that fails choose Install Now, then Custom Install, then at the drive selection screen delete all partitions down to Unallocated Space to get it cleanest, click Next to let it create needed partitions and start install – this makes it foolproof.

It is a better install than any amount of money can buy and a great learning experience that will make you the master of your PC because you will learn what works best and how to apply it with your own hands. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you will wait to choose if I solved your problem, I will keep working with you until it’s resolved.

The pages appear to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the sites that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP Potentially Unwanted Products. Is there a potential way around this? Hey Mercer, not sure if you figured it out yet or not but I went through the same problem. The solution is rather simple, add these keys in the registry. Once done the user will be prompted to log in again and it will store the info in the user profile so it roams around.

I have not deep dived into this page before or those registry keys. I did make the changes to the keys but then users were not able to even log into Adobe. I will review more about this page those. Can I simply point the W2K19 servers to the same FSLogix folder, so that profiles are re-used and worst-case scenario, also the other way round, should we want to fall back to W2K16?

Or should I simply create a new file share and migrate only the needed configuration? They both use. OS Servers We have Ivanti, app layering. DelayedDesktopSwitchTimeout key? When implementing the redirections. If we do not implement the redirection. New VHDX, redirections. After that, even when I remove the redirections. FSLogix policy settings are burned into the registry and removing the GPO does not remove the setting. Thanks for all your helpful information.

Thanks for pointing that out. I also found problems in the OneDrive. Have you tried Known Folder Move? Are you referring to the Antivirus exclusions.

That seems to be an old link that is no longer valid. I just removed it. Thanks for pointing it out. Hi Carl, made the switch to FSLogix. Love the product, but see one major flaw. It does not retain user printers after they set them. Can you guide me on a workable solution for this? Same problem as this thread?

Yes, but I have that policy configured. We provide a VDI to our users. There local printers are mapped, but they are also able to map certain printers on their VDI. Hi Carl — so we are running into an issue with session lock ups. This seems to happen when only accessing Citrix from external network sources. I am running XenApp 7.

User seem to be working fine for 5 to 10 minutes then sessions lock and they are no longer able to access the published application. Only resetting session clears. Wondering if there is something you know of that could be causing session locks or somewhere to check to see what could be the issue. Can you run other applications e. Need to determine if the whole session is locked, or just the app. According to the users experiencing these issues is the whole session. So if user has two applications running both applications are in a locked state.

I was able to reproduce this issue. Seems sessions lock up after 2 to 3 minute period of idle time. It locks up all applications I have open. Is there a policy I do not have set correctly? I followed your policy setting almost to the letter with regard to time out session.

I followed the settings for Application presentation that applied to my environment. When the user session is idle for 15 mins application went locked state,Citrix session is locked not the local machine, can you helpe to fix it? Iam using 7. Hi Mohanraj -I believe the issue to be a Network driver on our particular laptops.

If you do use Dell laptops update the Wireless drivers to latest Intel driver. Also make sure the following. Wireless Properites Advanced Tab Dual Band Great article s — you are a true lifesaver!

Do you have any idea how to get this right? Hello Carl, we are still in the build phase of our new environment and made the decision to move the Citrix Computer and User policies in Active Directory instead of storing them in the SQL Database. I think they only apply when you perform a Citrix connection. Some will be under HDX nodes. Others will be under the nodes that are numbered based on session ID.

I do know about the registry key that would show under. Either way, I do not see any of our policies applying in the folder. Does the Group Policy Management console need to be installed on a delivery controller for managing the Citrix policies in Active Directory? After getting passed that, I got a drop-down box to see the names of the Delivery Groups.

Nothing is listed and I cannot manually type it in. Is what I am attempting to perform a supported operation? We have opened a case with Citrix on this issue. According to Citrix , we have everything setup correctly and meeting the criteria.

We have a single GPO that only contains Citrix policies only. We have full control to that policy as well as Group Policy Modeling permissions and they do not seem to apply. We have confirmed the permissions are set correctly on the policy itself for delegation and scope. Now it is just trying to figure out how to capture the logging in process to see where it skips the policy or refuses to apply it. I was able to figure it out as to why the policies set in GPO were not applying.

At our top level Citrix OU, we have inheritance turned off. I am also doing dedicated full desktop for Windows 10, any specific settings from there that could help for that setup? Hi Carl. I have XenApp 7. No works over ICA. I have a scenario in my VDI environment. I uninstalled OneDrive I need version I have Xenapp 7. Citrix does not do that, so it has to be something else. Carl and others, Does the event log policy create the folder or does that need to be pre-created.

Also how does this work for custom logs from an application under application logs. For example if I have an app that writes its log under applications and services win2k16 How do I redirect that? Does the policy allow me to create a custom entry. Forgive me if these are newbie questions. In case it is possible, how should I do that? The individual policy objects in the folder do not inherit parent permissions. I am assuming that I would need to do this on any domain controller or build a central store.

What do you recommend? Do have an idea of what to check? Seems with latest updates to , Microsoft has created per user Services, which flood the event log and show pop-up errors to users on XenApp on occasion. Excellent post. So I found this post as I was facing issues with XA7. Cortana and SearchUI are filling the event logs full of errors when a user log into the Desktop.

Also, left clicking on the start menu brings up nothing which of course is a problem but right clicking does bring up the context menu. Start Menu is quite the challenge. My Profile Management article has info on how to roam it. Thank you very much for this Carl and all the excellent articles on your site, you should include a Donate button somewhere on your front page as you are making a lot of peoples lives a lot easier….

Hello Carl, Hope you are doing well and thanks for the instructions. Thanks, Pavan. For the most part, yes. There are some minor differences e. I usually have a parent OU for common settings everything in this article and sub-OUs for Delivery Group-specific settings.

Thanks Carl. If you say delivery group specific settings will that be application related? Great Article. I dont know how I would survive without these easy to use guides. One question though.. I usually just do the optimizations built into the VDA. I have a colleague that tested many optimizations and noticed no difference in performance.

Status report for April 2022: services and apps on Windows 10 Mobile – Windows 10 pro 2020 download isolved login

However, I have encountered a bug. This has happened several times. This never happened in Windows 7. I was able to undo all the way to the beginning of the game to play over, but I can never do that now. If I try to do it I will eventually get the null pointer error.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but still get the same error. I do appreciate getting my game back, but it is frustrating to exit a game without winning it. I hate giving up. I tried it with a fresh start in case the file got corrupted in downloading. I uninstalled, deleted all installation files, and downloaded the. After re-installing Spider Solitaire, I was able to use CTRL-Z to undo all the way from the last deal to the beginning without encountering the null pointer error.

This may have fixed my problem. I have since managed to do it numerous times without crashing. I guessed it might have something to do with moving the pointer while using CTRL-Z, so I now move the pointer into the taskbar and take my hand off it while undoing.

I solved the null pointer problem this way: find the real Microsoft games it located in program files on C in windows 7 copy it or download the pack from net. I am having the same problem on my laptop with Windows Does not occur on my desktop with Windows Very frustrating.

It would seem that there should be some solution. I have the same problem, when using CTR Z Spider works fine on my 2 Desktop Machines running w10, but on my Laptop, it will often crash with null pointer error, but not always!

Look at the other posts I think think may be due to the touch pad, I am going to try disabling it see if that fixes the problem. The problem never seems to occur when using the Games drop down menu to accomplish undo. This is OK for a single undo but cumbersome for multiple undos. To accomplish multiple undos make sure the first one uses the Game menu. The problem first occurred on a brand new laptop, but my desktop was fine.

I was using a Logitech M Bluetooth mouse on the laptop, and then I got another one for my desktop, and the NULL pointer problem started occurring there too. On both machines I was using the mouse with the stock Microsoft driver. I later installed it on the laptop, and the problem went away there too. Thank you thank you thank you. I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and immediately missed my games, especially Chess Titans and Spider Solitaire.

I found your website and downloaded the zip file. Norton Software warned me against the file so I came back to your website and checked out the comments and reviews before installing the program. My goodness, it worked flawlessly and immediately right from the start! How easy that was! I got an extra bonus when my statistics for Spider Solitaire were not automatically deleted when I upgraded to Windows 10 and they reappeared the first game I played.

So I was able to pick up where I left off without interruption. Thanks very much for your website. Love it!!! The alternatives are not as good! Thank you so much!!!!! Me and my kids love these games and were so disappointed to see they were gone. Thanks again! Thanks so much for this. Not I have and it was painless!!! Very, very well done…Thanks again. I have google chrome and plenty of storage. The other link does not work. Can you help? Thanks a milli…. Really grateful that you took the trouble to set this up.

What can i do to remove it? It reappears after each refresh. Will an earlier version, say from Windows 98, work, and where can I get it? What can I do? Unfortunately windows will not let me choose 7-zip to unzip. If I double click on the winaero program, I get the message: the program cannot be found. If I right-click on the program, I can choose to unzip but only with winzip or express-zip.

I have tried downloading the 7-zip first as 86, the as 64, but without result did not know which one I should choose. Suddenly it worked. I have now installed solitaire, spider and hearts. Only hearts is a normal size. The two others are huge — fill the whole page which I do not seem to be able to reduce, but I will keep trying.

Thank you for your help. Sooo… this may be a stupid q, but will this work on a 32bit pc as well? Okay, now what? Certainly no Windows 7 games. Have tried twice incl. The MEGA thing is asking me to upload or drag anything to its cloud service.

There has been no exe file to open, or at least no games. What is your antivirus software? What exactly it reported? The file is clean, you can check it with the VirusTotal service for example. Thank you.

I do not see any comments relative to trojans, malware, bloatware, etc. Is this software free of the junk before I download? I was an addict of Freecell and the new version was simply NOT okay with me. I have had the same thing happen to me twice when I upgraded to the newer Builds of Windows 10 Preview.

The only thing left on my drive for the games are empty directories except for the games names and a file ending in exe.

I did reinstall the games again and they are working again. Gen2 detecet by Auto-Protect, Blocked. BAK and when i renamed them, removed them. Viruses have the same behavior, however, they usually inject their body into the file. This patcher just modifies the file header and increases the supported Windows version.

It is clean. If you are not happy with such behavior of the patcher, then do not install these games. There is not other way to get it working. Be sure to remove the Trojan before installing. How do I go to step 2? Unpack and execute? On Windows 7, you waited a while or a few hours and it worked again. No such luck on Windows 10 so far. Thanks soooooooo much!!! This helped me to overcome my bordem while my online games are updating!!!! I can not thank you enough, my level of appreciation is unlimited!!!

Thank you sooooo much!!! Neither does right clicking. Just wanted to let you know that I upgraded to Windows 10 Build , reinstalled program and it says Internet Spades blocked by parental controls. I have NO parental controls installed. However, I went back to Windows 10 build and games work fine.

Curious if you tried on build ? I figured out why when you install a newer build to Win10 why games say blocked by parental control. My system is Windows Server R2 in Windows 8. I downloaded and installed the game, but nothing works. I downloaded windows 10 to my windows 7 and lost the games like hearts, solitaire, etc and fond out through this website how to install it and it worked great. Thank you so much for your help…. But last night she called asking where to find Solitaire.

These games will not run in I wonder what the problem is. I have tried compatibility mode to no avail. Same here. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. What is more, the update to build was kind enough to completely uninstall the games. We were getting the null pointer exception in Solitaire undo. On my old Dell that had the games already install, which was upgraded to win10 RTM, then upgraded to , no issues whatsoever.

Which is the fastest internet brouser in the world. Microsoft should have given away the internet explorer and the Bing bar years ago and done a deal with google chrome. I play these games after a hectic day of being a care-giver. You are a life saver! A blessing on you. I installed this and it worked fine. Now I can play spider solitaire when the cat uses the keyboard as a bed! However, a little while ago a red ring appeared in the middle of the solitaire screen.

It overlays the background and the cards. It also appears on the other games which I have tried. Any idea what this is? Well, based entirely on the colour of the circle red , I disabled and re-enabled my antivirus Bullguard and now the red ring has gone.

Oh thank goodness!!! My enjoyment of solitaire and chess on the new lappy had dropped to nil because of all the web based crapola involved. Now I can just play and relax. Bless you! My son thought it was stupid that I wanted Freecell until I made him play it just one time and he had to admit it was pretty cool. Microsoft might be striking back. Its latest updates are stopping your version of windows 7 games.

I installed and played your zipped games successfully. They are disappearing — not starting when I click on them. The files are intact, they simply will not initiate. I noticed a MS update last night and Minesweeper was not working today. Tell us about your business and we’ll get you set up for a quick demo!
